In this tech-paced era, the role of libraries and librarians in ornganising digital information and material is very challenging and requires care and patience. Digital information not only consist of virtual publications, but also information such as knowledge and skills, intellectual property, old manuscripts and etc need well organize and also requires proper management to easily accessible and can be use anytime. Thus the role of libraries and librarians in managing digital information and materials are very important. Below, the accompanying recommendations and opinions on the role of librarians and libraries in organizing this digital information are such as :

The Role of Libraries in managing digital information
From the library perspective, the important thing is the organizing of the digital information should contribute to the education, research, leisure, and thus to the socialisation processes of our societies. The important role by organizing the digital information, the library should select, organize, preserve the information, make the information available and must offer for use to the user in an appropriate subset of resources.

To acquire, give access to, and safeguard carriers of knowledge and information in all forms and to provide instruction and assistance in the use of the collections to which their users have access
